Moved In

Mom is all moved in to her lovely room at Lisaard. Andrea packed up some pictures, mom's blankets and some familiar CDs to make it feel like home. She will spend the night with mom in her room. The house is beautiful and so nicely laid out - very welcoming to visiting family and friends. We (Mag and family, Jen and family, Cath, Andrea and Mike) are planning to meet there together on the 26th for a gift exchange and a kid-friendly activity of dipping various food items in chocolate.

Mom was out for the move. Andrea gave her a lorazapam and she slept through the move and for a few hours afterward. Since her arrival she has been pretty sleepy and quiet, not talking or moving much and only having a few sips of water from a syringe.

Mike helped with the move and did a trip back to the house to pick up more supplies, then left from Lisaard house to go to work. Jen and Lauren got to Lisaard around 2:30, brought soup for her and Andrea for dinner, milk for Lauren and stayed until 8pm when the "Office" ended. Bob arrived after dinner time. Cath arrived just before 8pm after a long day at work. We need to figure out how to get food there for the family - there is lots back at the house.

Say a little sweet dreams prayer for mom for her first night away from Bob and home.
