Holy Cats!

Mom has been enjoying her time OFF of chemo so far. She wasn't feeling well up until the weekend, but then she got her energy back and is feeling pretty good. Today she told me that she feels her breathing is about 100% !!!! I never would have expected that. I think it's a Christmas miracle! lol

Anyway, today Mom dragged me out of bed for her 8:15am Cat Scan appointment. It was at St. Mary's, where Mom lived for 2 weeks in March.

Today I learned that CT (as in cat) stands for Computed Tomography. It was written on the bottle of the yucky barrium drink that Mom has to swallow 2 GIANT glasses of. It is, according to the label "orange" flavoured, but it reminds me of sunscreen/pina coladas. Mom didn't have to stay in the waiting room to drink it, so we ventured up to that fifth floor lounge that we used to hang out at when she was an in-patient. A lot of you visited Mom in that room! We watched a little bit of tv, then went back down for the scan.

That was fine, and we left and had breakfast. We both had a nap and now I'm taking her to exercise class at the University of Waterloo.
